The Dark Garden
Deep in the Shroud, on the edge of the western destruction is a bramble hedge with a solid black iron gate. It's existence is fanciful rumor to most, and spoken of in hushed tones by those that have been, or know someone who has. When there is no other recourse, when dark magics and souls are willing to be consorted with, or need discreet help, it's whispered to visit The Dark Garden on a moonless night, and your problem can be solved, if you are willing to pay the price it's master asks.In truth, the night blooming garden inside is beautiful, cultivated with love and skill by Asta'ya, and its and his reputation are similarly cultivated and curated to direct only the right sorts of people to it. While he holds his own magics, Asta'ya considers his place to be an intermediary between those whose problems are overlooked by upright and powerful organizations, or would condemn them for it, and those who cannot escape their dark nature or circumstances but still seek to do what good they can.Advisor, broker, sympathetic soul, he will rarely share his own inescapable nature and has learned to work with the fact that no matter his intent, he comes off as sinister or with ulterior motives. Those who are helped are more than willing to continue to cultivate the mystery and those who are harmed are both rarely alive and unknowingly only help when telling the truth.(Someday, this will exist but I have yet to build something I'm happy with so you'll just have to pretend)
